Who these terms are with
Work at Crown Garage Hanham is carried out by Crown Garage Hanham Limited (company no. 16830247). Work at Crown Garage Saltford is carried out by Crown Garage Service Centre Limited (company no. 16830248). References to “we” and “us” mean the relevant company for your branch.
Bookings
You can book online or by contacting the branch directly. A booking is a request for a slot; it is confirmed once we accept it. Please arrive at the agreed time with the vehicle and keys.
Estimates and prices
Prices shown on this website, including MOT and service prices, are starting prices and include VAT unless stated otherwise. They are a guide, not a quotation. We will give you a price or estimate for the work needed before we begin, and we will contact you for approval before carrying out any additional work.
Cancellations and missed appointments
Please let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or rearrange. We may not be able to offer a same-day alternative for missed appointments.
Collection and payment
Vehicles must be paid for in full before collection unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods displayed at the branch. We may retain the vehicle until payment is made.
Guarantee
Our repairs are guaranteed against faulty workmanship and parts for a period we will confirm with you. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, misuse, accident damage, or faults arising from a related repair you chose not to have done.
MOT testing
MOT tests are carried out under DVSA rules. An MOT certifies that the vehicle met the minimum standards at the time of the test; it is not a warranty of condition or a substitute for a service. Where a retest is available free of charge, the vehicle must be left with us and repaired within the period DVSA rules allow.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the relevant work. We are not liable for loss of use, loss of earnings or other indirect losses.
Your legal rights
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, including your rights in relation to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
